Maurice “Bud” Ahern, 74, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away February 21, 2001. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 27, 1926. He moved to Arizona in 1959 where he was in the liquor and wine distribution business. Bud is survived by his sons, Michael, Joseph, Robert, and Christopher Ahern; daughter Mary Eileen Kraus and four grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary Sunday, February 25, 2001 at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road., Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Monday, February 26, 2001 at St. Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. 3rd St., Phoenix.
