Leatha Roberta Horne, born on August 27, 1929, died on February 16, 2001. Those who will cherish her memory: husband, James Horne, Jr.; mother, Armentia White; stepfather, Quincy White; two sons, Wayne (Gloria) Horne, Derrick (Toni) Horne, four daughters, Maureen Jackson, Loretta (Allen) Powell, Leatha (Gregory) Brown and Janice Horne. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. The home services will be held at the Original Holy Ark M.B. Church, located at 5336 South Morgan Street in Chicago, IL 60609. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. The interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery, 123rd & Kedzie.
