J. Kenneth Bane, 88, of Lisle, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Mr. Bane was the owner of Maybrun Manufacturing in Chicago. He was a Grand Knight from 1976 to 1977 of Father Boecker Knights of Columbus Council 6090 in Lombard, a former member of the Sierra Club, past president of the Holy Name Society at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lombard, past president of Mayslake Retreat and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Frances; a son, Keith; two daughters, Cynthia and Helen; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 8:15 a.m. Saturday in Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, followed by a mass at 9:30 a.m. in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth Ave., Naperville.
