Jeanne Goldstein, nee Pennie, of New York City, passed away February 22, 2001, she was born in Chicago on October 13, 1928, beloved wife of Martin for 34 years; dear sister of Ruth (Donn) Gregori, Jerry Pennie, Lois (Tom) Esler and the late Patty (Julius) Horwitz, John (Mary Jo) Pennie and David Pennie; loving daughter of the late Richard and Helen Pennie; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law of Albert. She graduated from Mundelein College, moved to New York City in the early 1950’s, and had 35 successful years in public relations. Family and friends will meet for a Funeral Mass Monday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, Skokie. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
