Jerry E. Galloway, 64, of Wheaton, the former owner of Nova Graphics Plus in Wheaton, died of kidney cancer Thursday, Feb. 22, in his home. Born in Fort Riley, Kan., Mr. Galloway played semipro football for the Kansas City Rivals. In the 1960s, he began working in sales at Grinell Co., a supplier of pipes and valves in the Kansas City area. Mr. Galloway was transferred to Long Beach, Calif., where he met his wife and was married in 1972. He moved to Wheaton in 1980 and continued working in sales for several valve and piping companies in Chicago. In 1990, he went into business for himself and became owner and operator of Nova Graphics Plus. “He just lived a simple life,” said his wife, Gayle. “He was a very steady and honest person.” Other survivors include a son, Jeremy; a brother, Larry; and two sisters, Betty Malone and Judy. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary Ave., Wheaton.
