Chicago has the NBA team with the worst record, a hockey team that has suddenly forgotten how to win, a football team with a losing record and a losing baseball team that outdrew a winning team on the other side of town.
Chicago also has two winning teams that get very little press from the Tribune. I’m talking about the Fire and the Skyliners.
Even though they sport a 17-6 record, the Skyliners get barely a mention. The Fire, even though they lost in the MLS championship game, did get writeups after the games and an occasional feature, but neither team gets as much press as the losing teams.
Why can’t we support our winners with more press?
