John M. “Jack” Connelly, 67, a resident of Fairfield Bay since 1994, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2001, at his home. Born May 25, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Leo and Marion Connelly, nee Chohesy. He was a retired salesman for Xerox Corporation, a United States Navy Veteran and member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was preceeded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert, Laurence and Kevin Connelly; survived by his wife, Helen Connelly, nee Lynch; sons, Matthew Connelly, Elgin, Illinois and Michael Connelly, Chicago, Illinois and daughter, Cheryl Gregorio of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; four grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews; and 18 great-nieces and nephews. Service will be at St. James The Apostle Church, 480 S. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Tuesday, February 27, 2001 at 10 a.m.
