William J. Hearle Sr., 83, of DeKalb, died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001. He was born on June 2, 1917 in Verden, IL. Survived by son, Dr. Bill (Karen) Hearle; grandson, Jason Hearle, all of St. Charles, IL; several nieces and nephews; and a family of friends. Preceded by his parents; sister, Eileen Madsen; and daughter, Bonnie Hearle. Services 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001 at Grace Lutheran Church, 5N600 Hanson Rd., Lilly Lake. Visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Ernst Rex, Pastor of the church, officiating. Private family interment will follow in Indiana.
