Hughes, nee Herrmann, age 77, of Lake Zurich, died Feb. 25, 2001 in Lake Zurich, born Dec. 22, 1923 in Chicago, wife of the late Harry R.; mother of Tim (Laura) of Streamwood, Rory (David) Melton of Benton, KY, Dave (Debbie) of Geneva, IL and St. Jan (Bill) Suttie, Lake Zurich Police Dept.; grandmother of seven; and greatgrandmother of three. Volunteer at the Tricounty Crisis Pregnancy Center. Visitation Thursday, March 1, from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral Service 4 p.m. at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich.
