Genevieve Lozia Hylak, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully in Mission Viejo, CA on Feb. 26, 2001, at the age of 80. Gene was born May 18, 1920 in Chicago. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 62 years, Emil Hylak; her son, Peter Hylak of McKinney, TX; daughters, Dolores Chase of Kingman, AZ and Mary Jean Beatty of Irvine, CA; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her gentle and loving character filled all who knew her with joy and love. We will forever remember her gentle spirit, sweet smile, cheerful personality and quiet strength, and we will remain grateful to God that we were able to be a part of her life. Her beautiful spirit will always be in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, memorials to remember her in prayer may be sent to Santiago de Compostela Church, 21682 Lake Forest Dr., Lake Forest, CA 92630.
