The Palestinians have no one but themselves to blame for their current situation. Ehud Barak gave them a chance to have their own state and govern themselves, but they turned it down.
But why is this a surprise? The Arabs had all the West Bank (including most of Jerusalem) and Gaza under their control before 1967, but this wasn’t enough then. Why would it be enough now?
The issue isn’t where the borders of Israel should be. The issue is Israel’s very existence.
