I am far from a conservative in most matters, but I was saddened to see the picture of Mark Grace with his girlfriend and baby prominently displayed on the sports front page of Feb. 26.
Most would agree that the rising illegitimacy rate in our country is an unfavorable development. To see an articulate multimillionaire in his mid-30s flaunt his unmarried parenthood reflects a decline in our society’s standards as well as those of the Tribune.
