Richard W. DeRobertis, age 73, of South Holland, passed away March 10, 2001, beloved husband of Patricia, nee Osier; loving father of Richard, Mary, Donna, Michael, Cheryl, Daniel, Marlene and Patrick; beloved brother to Nancy Harris and preceded in death by Marcia Watkins and John DeRobertis; also preceded in death by parents John and Donna DeRobertis; he was the proud grandfather of 11; and great-grandfather of one. A Navy Veteran of WW II. He served in the South Pacific. He owned and operated an independent insurance agency in South Holland as well as being a member of the South Holland Business Assoc. Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Dolton Elks and various other organizations. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Jude the Apostle Church on Wednesday, March 14, at 10:30 a.m. at 900 East 154 Street, South Holland. Rev. Tom Cabala officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the South Holland Community Center.
