Bob Kambic states that he sees little difference between Bill Clinton’s Marc Rich pardon and President Bush giving the rich his tax dollars (Voice of the people, March 6). I must have missed the part where Bush plans to cut checks to the wealthy.
In a simple example, a person making $1 million dollars a year would have his tax bill reduced from $390,000 to $330,000. I would hardly consider this to be Bush giving the wealthy Mr. Kambic’s tax dollars, especially when he is getting a tax cut himself. Instead of trying to incite class warfare, maybe we should just say thank you.
