Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association, a cooperative of nine park districts and two villages in northeast DuPage County, recently received the Illinois Park and Recreation Association’s Outstanding Program Award for its pet therapy program. Jim’s Pet World of Villa Park sponsors the program, which educates specific audiences about animals native to Illinois or kept as pets.
