It would be an unnecessary waste of taxpayers’ money to build a third airport in Peotone. The airports in Rockford and Gary should have their facilities expanded to accommodate more airplanes. Twenty-five percent of O’Hare’s flights could then be moved to those two facilities, eliminating the need for more runways.
My proposal would cost much less and would bring greater economic prosperity to both Rockford and Gary.
