George E. Karth, 76, of Naples, FL, formerly of Evanston, passed away April 9, 2001, beloved husband for over 52 years of Gladys I., nee Wilkinson; loving father of Kenneth T. (Megan), Kerry S. (Nancy), Jerry G. (Marianne), Karen M. (Howard) Bongratz, Kathy A. (Daniel) Jones and the late John H. Karth; cherished grandfather of 22 and great-grandfather of three. Former owner and operator of a Shell service station in Evanston. Funeral service will be Saturday April 14, at 11 a.m. at Scott-North Shore Chapels, 1104 Waukegan Rd., Glenview.
