Mom and Dad shot 127 hours of videotape on your trip to Disney World and didn’t get a single good shot (not to mention the awful camera-shake on the Mad Tea Party ride).
Budding young Spielbergs can show them how it’s done by taping and then editing their own videos using Studio Action, a digital video-editing software package created by LEGO and Pinnacle Systems for children ages 8 through 16. Studio Action is based on Pinnacle Systems’ award-winning Studio DV video-editing software and includes similar features that let children organize scenes and add titles, transitions and music to produce a home movie. The set includes software and a USB cable allowing use of any analog or digital camcorder.
The software is available through computer stores and online vendors and retails for about $70.
