With all the hand-wringing over the spiraling cost of gas, we are quick to blame the current situation on big oil or on the lack of a viable government energy policy. I submit that we have a crisis of common sense.
I have a friend who lives in Milwaukee and commutes to Chicago every day by car. I know of a couple who work at O’Hare Airport and commute daily from Janesville, Wis.–in separate cars!
