U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) was elected and is paid to represent the people of Illinois. If he believes his personal agenda is more important, he should resign (“Protests again disrupt Vieques drills,” News, April 29). Further, he should relinquish his salary for the time he has spent in pursuit of his unlawful activities.
