Whether we agree with the Taliban’s actions or not, it is ridiculous to compare the “non-Muslim” labels with the Nazis’ use of the yellow stars. The Taliban does not seem to be using this to cause harm to non-Muslims in Afghanistan but, rather, to help them.
The Taliban enforces laws that non-Muslims may not want to follow. The labels, as your article pointed out, are proposed to keep non-Muslims from facing problems with “enforcement of Islamic law.” I would think it would free non-Muslims in that area from complying with practices they would rather not comply with anyway. How can this be compared to Nazi practices?
