I just returned from a weekend trip to Iowa, with my travels taking me through various towns in Illinois. I noted that in one town, Kewanee, Ill., unleaded regular gasoline is available for prices ranging from $1.49 to $1.56 per gallon. Can anybody tell me why gasoline in Kewanee is 50 cents cheaper than it is in Chicago?
