I am a firm believer in following a prescribed process to resolve problems and misunderstandings.
But sometimes one must step “outside the box” in order to bring to light a situation that is just not right, especially when youngsters are involved.
I commend Rev. Michael Pfleger for speaking out about St. Sabina being denied admittance into the athletic leagueBy speaking out, maybe he brought to light a disturbing situation that would have otherwise continued to be covered up.
I’m sure that many prayers are with the reverend for a fair and just resolution of this unwanted travesty.
