Thank you for the June 15 editorial “The incredible, inedible egg.” The monumental attempts intelligent people are making to attain a goal of zero defects for everything is ridiculous. It can’t be done! The sooner we realize that we must tolerate a 10 percent or 0.01 percent defect rate in everything, we’ll all be on our way to a better society. It bothers me to see such foolishness. Hey, I want mine sunny-side up!
