Village trustees have approved an amendment to a special-use permit for Village Crossings, a mixed-use town center project at Irving Park Road and Bokelman Street.
The original plan called for a six-story building with 84 apartments. The revised plan calls for a five-story building with 70 condominiums in lieu of the apartments. The new plan also eliminates 14 underground parking spaces.
