Last week’s bulldozing of 14 homes in a refugee camp shows the state of “peace” in this region of turmoil.

This war is being fought on two fronts. Fortunately for the Israelis, their front is based in bureaucracy.

The fully armed Israeli defense forces, clad in camouflage and AK-47s, are authorized to kill by the government. Their Palestinian counterparts, who don’t have enough money for the camouflage and automatic machine guns, are dubbed “terrorists.”

It was a “lack of permits” that allowed bulldozers to raze 14 homes in this refugee camp.

Israel is systematically destroying any land that may belong to Palestinians.
