Chris Webber is having second thoughts about returning to the Sacramento Kings, his agent said Tuesday just hours before the NBA’s 2 1/2-week moratorium on free agent signings was to expire.

Webber was widely expected to sign a seven-year deal with the Kings, but his agent, Fallasha Erwin said: “He’s having second thoughts. He’s not sure what he wants to do.”

Meanwhile, Sacramento is keeping swingman Doug Christie, who agreed to a seven-year, $48 million contract.

– Free-agent forward Horace Grant agreed to a three-year deal with the Orlando Magic.

Track and field: Michael Johnson and Stacy Dragila set records at the DN Galan meet in Stockholm. Johnson anchored a Nike team to a relay victory. Dragila set a stadium record in the women’s pole vault.

Soccer: Ecuador beat Venezuela 4-0 in the quarterfinals of the Copa America tournament in Barranquilla, Colombia, giving Ecuador its first three points of the tournament and eliminating Venezuela. Colombia beat Chile 2-0 in another match, clinching first place in Group A.

Colleges: Clarence Young, 20, a reserve defensive back for Indiana University, has been charged with raping a woman he met at a Bloomington, Ind., sports bar. He could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
