Pity poor Jeffrey Archer, author and once-esteemed politico in Britain. Four years in prison for lying under oath about his sexual escapade(s). Oh if only Lord Archer had been an American, accused here of a similar offense, he most assuredly would have escaped such harsh consequences–provided our economy was sound and people otherwise perceived he was doing a good job in whatever official capacity he held.
