John Kass continues to be the reason I subscribe to your paper. His July 19 column on the use of human embryos in stem cell research is well-reasoned and dispassionate.
His position is also, I fear, unpopular and unlikely to prevail. Perhaps not, though, if enough of us speak out to defend human life against human manufacture.
