Jerome Anthony Maluchnik, 58, of Schaumburg, a credit manager at John Sakash Co. in Elmhurst, died of cancer Tuesday, Aug. 28, in his home. Born in Chicago, Mr. Maluchnik was a graduate of Holy Trinity High School who worked as a parts specialist for 25 years at Continental Can in West Chicago. A resident of Schaumburg since 1985, Mr. Maluchnik spent the past five years working as a credit manager at Sakash. In 1985 he served as president of the Lions Club in Bensenville. “He was a good listener,” said his wife of 21 years, Rosemary. Other survivors include a son, Joshua; and three brothers, Edward, Richard and Donald. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Michael’s Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. A mass will be said at 10 a.m. in St. Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon Pkwy., Hoffman Estates.
