BOOK YOU’VE BEEN READING:

“A Painted House” by John Grisham. I don’t think it’s the best book Grisham has written, but I finished it because he mentions Harry many times as the broadcaster for the St. Louis Cardinals. It was a weird feeling to see that.

CDs YOU BOUGHT RECENTLY:

Frank Sinatra’s “Reprise Collection” and Luciano Pavarotti’s “Greatest Hits.” I like soothing stuff, and I remember when Sinatra would step on stage, he looked like he just stepped out of Gentlemen’s Quarterly. And I love Pavarotti’s voice.

LAST GOOD MOVIE YOU SAW:

“Traffic.” It was very good, but I found it sad to think that’s what really goes on in the world.
