C. Donald Gustafson, 70, of Stuart, Florida and Geneva, Illinois, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 24, 2001 at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. Don was Corporate Secretary and General Counsel for Service Master Industries of Downers Grove, IL, where he worked for more than 30 years before retiring. He is remembered by his wife, Joanne Gustafson; his children, David (Dawn) Gustafson of Naperville, IL, Nancy (Gary) Barnes of LaGrange, IL, Daniel (Anne) Gustafson of Madison, WI and Dale (Elaine) Gustafson of Shawnee, KS; his stepchildren, Karen (Randy) Yoch of Batavia, IL and Greg (Lisa) Camboni of Clarendon Hills, IL; and his grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Gustafson, J.D. and Tom Barnes, Henry and Grace Gustafson, Grant and Greta Gustafson, Ryan and Tyler Yoch and Jason Camboni; he was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Frances Gustafson; and his son, Douglas. Don was a very generous and giving person who loved God, his family and his many friends. He truly enjoyed all of the visits, calls, cards and letters received during his recent illness. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2001, at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Geneva, 2300 South Street, Geneva, IL and on Sunday, November 11, 2001 at the Mariner Sands Chapel, Stuart, FL, where his remains will be laid to rest in the Chapel’s Memorial Garden.
