Leo N. Kish, 75, of Aurora, a community volunteer, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, in Kindred Hospital in Sycamore. Born in Aurora, Mr. Kish graduated from East Aurora High School in 1943 and served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He was a self-employed printing broker until his retirement several years ago. Mr. Kish volunteered for many organizations over the years. He was a former member of the East Aurora School District 131 Board of Education, and he was a member of the St. Charles Kiwanis Club, where he served as a president and lieutenant governor. He also was active with the Salvation Army and was a member of the Batavia VFW. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marjorie; two sons, James and Mark; two daughters, Linda Barkley and Susan Watkins; two sisters, Anna Prisco and Mary Kubos; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A private funeral service was held Saturday.
