Allan I. Wolff Jr., 91, died peacefully on August 28, 2001, born January 25, 1910 in Chicago. He lived in Highland Park for 73 years. He graduated from Deerfield-Shields High School in Highland Park, Dartmouth College and Northwestern University Law School (1937). In 1938 he married Nora Roberts of High River, Alberta, who died in 1995. He practiced law in Chicago and Highland Park for more than fifty years. He was a member of The Trinity Episcopal Church in Highland Park where he served on the vestry and was active in local civic affairs for many years. He was an avid gardener and reader, a lifelong White Sox fan and was a wonderful raconteur. He is fondly remembered by his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Nancy, Susan (Philip) Markert and Allan III, and grandchildren, Kimberly and Philip Markert; his younger brothers Hugh and Peter are both deceased.
