Richard L. Glader, 66, of Marengo, died Wednesday, August 29, 2001 at The Centegra Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. He was born December 23, 1934 in Alma, Wisconsin, born to Merle and Florence, nee Karrow, Glader. He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Huntley. In addition to being an avid sportsman and card player, Mr. Glader was a successful business owner. At the time of his death, he was president of Anasco Incorporated, located in Addison, Illinois. Beloved husband of Nancy Glader, nee Andrews of Marengo; two sons and daughter, Gregg Glader of Hoffman Estates, Garth (Margaret) Glader of Geneva, Gretchen (Jay) Schuette of Sugar Grove; fond grandfather of Ben Glader, Ann Schuette, Sam Schuette, Joe Schuette; dear son of Florence Glader of New Brighton, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Merle Glader; a brother, Mark Glader and a sister Connie Panser. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, at the Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home in Woodstock. Visitation continues from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on September 5, at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Huntley, with Reverend Charles Kittel officiating. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and Preschool, 11008 N. Church Street., Huntley, IL 60142, or another charity of the donor’s choice.
