Janine A. Sauter, 50, of Oswego, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2001 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She was born September 20, 1950 in Chicago, IL. Janine worked as a registered nurse for the Oswego School District #308 and was a member of the Lord of Life Church in Oswego. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth Koenigsberg. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Sauter of Oswego; two sons, Brett W. and Jeffrey W. Sauter both of Oswego; one daughter, Dana J. Sauter of Oswego; three sisters, Carole (Edward) Kirner of Boulder Hill, Donna (Ron) Mohr of Urbandale, Iowa and Linda (Peter) Holmer of Plainfield; her mother-in-law, Evelyn Sauter; god-mother, Evelyn Wertz; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Vicki Sauter; four nephews, Mark Peek, Trent Mohr, Ian Mohr and Nathan Holmer; five nieces, Kristy Peek, Tobi Roesler, Annika Mohr, Julia Holmer and Marianne Holmer; also one great-nephew Isaac Roesler and one great-niece Emma Roesler. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2001 from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 420 W. Downer Pl., Aurora where she will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour with the Rev. Dan McKnight officiating. Cremation will take place at River Hills Memorial Park.
