W. Wallace Tudor, 90, of Cherry Hill, NJ, formerly of Oak Park and River Forest, died Sept. 3, 2001 in his home. Mr. Tudor was born in Monrovia, IN, and lived in Oak Park and then River Forest from 1941 to 1996. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred E., nee Galloway, in 1997. He was employed by Sears, Roebuck and Company from 1936 until his retirement in 1974, having been Vice-President of Personnel & Employee Relations and a Director of the company for many years. He was active in a number of charitable activities, most notably as Crusade Chairman for the Illinois Chapter of the American Cancer Society in 1958, and National Crusade Chairman for the American Cancer Society in 1960. He and his wife were longtime members of the Oak Park and River Forest Country Club. Mr. Tudor is survived by his son Thomas G. Tudor; and daughter-in-law Francine D. Tudor, both of Cherry Hill, NJ; and grandchildren, Wesley A. Tudor of San Diego, CA and Tasha R. Tudor, of Philadelphia, PA. Funeral services will be conducted at Hippensteel Funeral Home, Lafayette, IN, on Sept. 8 at noon.
