Families can sell off outgrown treasures and buy some new ones at the Mokena Community Park District’s Flea Market for Kids on Sunday. Clean out the closets and the toy boxes and bring a table to Mokena Main Park, where you can rent a space. The shopping should be good for kids and parents alike.

Mother Goose
Bring the kids to meet Mother Goose at the grand opening of the Silver Cross Hospital Birthing Center Sunday. Children can have photos taken with Mother Goose, who will read and sing nursery rhymes. Other activities include a petting zoo, a moonwalk, a car seat safety demonstration and a tour of the new center. A Mother Goose Golden Book will be presented to the first 500 children attending with their parents.
