Margery Joan “Mardi” Guirl, 67, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, died Thursday, September 6, 2001 at her home. She was born February 14, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Kenneth William Miller and Helen Joan Hogg Miller. She was a member of the Catholic Church and retired from the U of A Library as a receiving clerk. She is survived by two sons, William Russell Guirl of Tulsa, OK and Steven Miller Guirl of Springdale, AR; two daughters, Helen Joan Griffin of Ft. Riley, Kansas and Martha Litton Guirl of Fayetteville, AR; also six grandchildren. Memorial services will be Saturday, September 8, 2001 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
