Jarzynski, Pastor Emeritus of St. Andrew The Apostle Church, Calumet City, IL, passed away Sept. 4, 2001, ordained May 8, 1948, beloved son of the late Matthew Jarzynski and the late Stella, nee Misiak; dearest brother of Leon (Therese) Jarzynski, the late Dorothy (Ted) Wenderski and Eleanore Wenzel; fond uncle of Matthew (Ann) Jarzynski, Barbara (late William) Costello, Larry (Patty) Wenderski, Louise (Mark) Reed, Judy Wenzel, Richard Jr. (Anne) Wenzel, Paul Wenzel, James (Linda) Wenzel; and great-uncle of many. Member of the Knights of Columbus Coronata Council (4th Degree), The Alhambras (Calumet City), Fraternal Order of Police (Burnham) Lodge #22, Holy Name Society of St. Roman, St. Constance, Immaculate Heart of Mary, St. Florian, Mother of God (Burnham) and St. Andrew The Apostle (Calumet City) Churches. Also Police Chaplain of the Calumet City Police Department. Lying in state at St. Andrew The Apostle Church, 768 Lincoln Ave., Calumet City, IL, Sunday, 2 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew The Apostle Church.
