No leader and no country should ever remain silent in facing racism, period. This is the primary lesson the world claims to have learned from the tragic experience of the Holocaust.

It is evident that the Bush administration is more concerned about its domestic politics than atrocious abuse of human rights in Palestine. Israel’s deplorable racist ideology and its daily atrocities stand in dramatic contrast to the lessons that it should have been first to learn from 2,000 years of persecution of the Jewish people.
