What’s that they say about the third time being a charm? Eastern Kentucky football coach Roy Kidd hopes to be totally charmed Saturday.
A win over Liberty would make Kidd (299-117-8) just the seventh coach in NCAA Division I history to win 300 games.
Kidd has been denied the milestone victory twice. Eastern Kentucky fell to Eastern Illinois 49-6 in its 2000 season finale.
The Colonels (0-1) also lost to Central Michigan 42-28 in this year’s opener.
