Frank S. Karger, 84, of Highland Park, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, beloved husband of Edith “Cookie”; loving father of Frank (Nancy) Karger Jr., Anita (Jim) Benser, Jo (Guy) Blake, Nicholas Karger, Julie (Jack) Willner and Sidney Karger; caring grandfather of nine. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Kelley and Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park, IL. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home. Interment private.
