Geneva and Chamber of Commerce officials and the chief executive of developer Sho-Deen Inc. are to participate in a groundbreaking for Dodson Place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at 3rd and Fulton Streets in Geneva. Eight buildings are planned for the commercial development on the former Geneva Community Hospital site. The historic Dodson Building is being fully rehabilitated.
Ad firm back in Naperville
Ross/Brown Integrated Marketing Communications Inc., has moved its headquarters from Chicago to the 5th Avenue Station in Naperville, the city where the firm originated as Brown Integrated Communications. Warehouse rehab begins
Oak Brook-based Krusinski Construction Co. has begun work on a $2.3 million renovation of a warehouse at 2020 S. Mannheim Rd. for Safeguard Self Storage. Completion is scheduled for December.

Shopping mart being built
Tucker Development Corp. of Highland Park recently broke ground for Yorkville Marketplace, a 225,000-square-foot shopping center on the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 34 and Illinois Highway 47 in Yorkville. A 64,000-square-foot Jewel-Osco grocery store will anchor the center, which is scheduled to open in April.
