Who kidnapped the Tribune’s editorial page writers? For 30 years I have been used to stodgy pontificating, and I am shocked that you have apparently altered writing styles. Who hijacked the mope who thought an opinion was a sledgehammer and thought that “nit” was a prefix for “wit”? And who is the new kid on the block who writes editorials now with wit, humor, grace and playfulness? While the opinions are as predictable as ever (obedience to the twin gods of GOP and capitalism), at least the presentation has improved.
