Virginia Vecchiollo’s family respectfully invites you to attend services for her. Visitation will be held at Geils Funeral Home, 260 West Irving Park Road, Wood Dale, Wednesday September 12 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Funeral service will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home with a mass at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 254 North Wood Dale Road, Wood Dale, followed by prayers and interment at Queen Of Heaven Cemetery. She was the devoted partner and soul mate of Anthony Sr, her husband of 41 years; an adored mother by her children Debra (Marc) Shakin and Anthony Jr (Linda) Vecchiollo; a cherished grandmother to Nicholas, Austin, Leah and Dena; beloved daughter of the late Agnes and Edward Matthew; beloved sister to the late Marlene (Michael) Schultze; dear sister-in-law to Gabby and Arlene Livorsi; dear aunt to Michael Schultze Jr, Salvatore, Leonard, Steve and Michael Livorsi. An extremely warm hearted friend and workmate to many, she was a joyful spirit to all she knew and those who came to know her, her voice, her creative expression, her kindness and most of all her generous giving heart were only a few of the gifts she shared with us.
