In the face of this national tragedy we must remember the many heroes–the firefighters, police officers, soldiers and regular citizens–whose acts of unimaginable heroism (many of which we may never know) are pillars of the American spirit on which we can all stand. Let us use their heroism as defense against the cowardly attacks on our American spirit. God bless those many heroes and their families.
