Cheryl P. Maybaum-Smith, age 54, late of Lockport, Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Chicago, living in Lockport for 4 years. Employed by Will County Dept. of Education. Preceded in death by a daughter Lindsay; her parents John and Patricia, nee Payan, Maybaum. Survived by her husband Kevin; her children Jesse and Darcy Smith both of Lockport; two sisters Debra (Mike) Buckley of Oak Forest and Mary Ann Johnson of California; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Dennis Church, Lockport. O’Neil Funeral Home, 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport in charge of arrangements. 815-838-5010 .
