Madeline Rosenbaum, age 89, beloved wife of the late David B.; loving mother of Merilee Elliott and Stephen Rosenbaum; cherished grandmother of Joseph (Brigette) Rosenbaum, Ari Elliott and Justin Elliott; greatgrandmother of David, Zachary and Jacob Rosenbaum; dear sister of Herbert “Bernie” (Barbara) Marder and Marvin (Lyla) Marder; also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rosenbaum was a graduate of Northwestern University; named Hadassah Woman of the Year (Miami Chapter) and very active in their efforts and publisher of the Hadassah Bulletin for over 20 years. Interment services will take place Thursday September 13, 2001 10 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery (Gardenia Section), 7801 W. Montrose, Chicago. A memorial service will follow at Chicago Sinai Congregation, 15 W. Delaware Place, Chicago at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Hadassah, 111 N.
