In our zeal to strike back at the terrorists who attacked America, we must be equally zealous in adhering to American ideals of justice.
We must resist the temptation to strike at those who merely sympathize with militant Arab or Islamic causes.
This includes the children who were seen celebrating in Palestine Tuesday.
They are deluded.
We must strike only at those who did this or who actively supported them.
Even more important we must guard against unfairly and unjustly blaming Muslim-Americans.
We need to open better dialogue with these people.
We need to ask them to help America explain to their cousins around the world that America does not want to harm Islamic or Arab interests.
